power steering pump
Hey guy's how's it going ? Well I finially got my king pins fixed, I asked the mechanic to do the pivot bushing but he said they were fine. My truck does drive alot better but I got another problem when I first start to drive the truck the steering feels great but it seems after I go down the road just a little bit it feels like the power steering pump doesn't have pressure if that makes any sense. I have already replaced the pump twice because it has a life time warranty so I figured it wouldn't hurt to try a new one. It also has a new gear box in it. Does anybody have any ideals on what it could be because I have ran out of ideals? You guys are the best! Thanks alot Mark

Have you replaced the lines? The return line is supposed to go through a loop on the crossmember, and removing this will cause the fluid to boil and do as you are saying. Try putting a small oil cooler in the return line, this will most likely fix your problems.
