Chrome Towing Mirrors
I have been seeing alot of SD's with these new chrome tow mirror covers around town. I was wondering if anyone has purchased these mirror covers and can tell me what they think of them. I've only seen them from far on the highway so I'm wondering if they look cheesy up close and personal. Any help would be appreciated. Also, I have an 04 so I'm looking for some input on the mirror covers that have the cut out for the turn signal.

Do a Google search for Putco or go here; http://www.putco.com/ When you get there click on "chrome trim" and you will see a nice photo of covers on a F-250. I have them and they fit great. Factory fit and finish.

I am running them on my Excursion and they look great.However,Putco makes a chrome door handle package to compliment the mirror covers,the couple of sets that i test fitted seem to have a clearance issue of the handle scraping the bezel.I would probably steer clear of those.

I had looked into Putco chrome mirror covers, but I thought it was a little too much chrome for my taste. I found TFP Mirror covers on EBay and bought a set of those instead. The TFP covers do not cover the entire back side of the mirror, and they were about half the price of the Putco mirror covers.

I have the Putco door handles and have no clearance problems. I installed them myself, so before they were glued in place I made sure they fit nicely. They look really good with my Darkstone paint.

On the Putco site they didn't show any available that I could see for the mirrors with the integrated turn signal. Anyone know if/where these may be available?

You can replace your covers with these, but I'm sure they are pricey. The cheapest replacement covers for your truck, from Ford run about $58 per. I'm sure the chrome ones are a bit more.
