Question Electric fan current draw?

I have a two speed electric fan on my '75 E-150. It came from
a Ford Tourus.
Does anyone know how much current it should pull on high speed?

Thanks,
Bob

probably around 12-15 amps rms and about 30 amps peak. all with good wiring and connections.

Thanks guys, after installing factory air in my old van the taurus fan worked fine exept
my alternator couldn't keep up, so I put a 100 amp alternator on. That worked real well,
but it seems that now with plenty of power available the fan was able to pull enough to
blow the 30 amp fuse. AC works great though (BIG JOB).

Thanks again,
Cranky

I got one on ebay a while back, it was supposed to be ford stock from some vehichle, came with a little box that clips into the fans electrical posts, 1 for ground, but then 1 with a 20 AMP resistor and then other a 40. I have the 40 hooked up to a switch I bought from autozone rated at 50AMPS, but it keeps blowing the switches after about 2-3 months of regular use ( i e maybe 2 or 3 flips a day). But I can sit in the driveway and rev 2500ish RPMS, and it will still drop my coolant temp quite quickly hehe, love the fan, love the motor more!
