I've never seen one without the console before, but I would hope there wouldn't be holes there already, 'cuz then you've just got carpet between you and the tranny. There are 4 bolts in the bottom of the console, and I would imagine you could put the console where you wanted it, drill the holes, seal 'em with a type of ring, and bolt it in. I'll check out the way mine is bolted and post again in the morning.
P.S. if you create a signature under "User CP," it will help us help you. Include such things as the year, engine size, and transmission type. Welcome!!
Alright, I checked the bolts on my Bronc today, and it seems that, at least on my rig, the bolts are self tapping. So, there aren't any nuts holding them in on the uder side. If I were you gekitch, I'd find a console from a newer Bronco to put in. Some of the mid 90's had change holders, and nice trim on 'em... Although, I do like the custom box like Ehaleyatty's got. Trying to find matching carpet is a b#@$% though.
