I just gave my son my Expy to use for school and decided to use my '65 F100 for a daily driver. It is a resto-mod of sorts, power steering, brakes, A/C. It is like a new truck and I expect no problems driving it daily.
Who else is driving an older truck or car on a daily basis? BTW my '65 has 112,000 original miles and my '03 Expy has 94,000 miles

my grandpas driving a 66 f100 that he bought brand new. still in perfect shape, its got a 351 that he transplanted into it when i was maybe 5 or 6. He's 94 years young.
I have a bone stock 1969 F-250 that I have been driving for the last year as my primary vehicle. I tried to replace it twice, the first truck blew the clutch in two weeks after I soaked about $300 into it in other junk, and the second truck blew the engine due to the PO's poor buildup. I have a newer truck to replace it, a 1970 F-100 that I am putting back together now. Hopefully that truck will stay together long enough that I can get some other trucks back on the road too.
My brother has a '92 F-150 that he uses as his daily driver. 230,000 miles and still goin'. Its got practically no oil pressure and the tranny is about ready to fall apart, but it still gets him back 'n forth every day.

I still use my 63 Mini as a daily driver to go to work... Originally because it was my only car.
Then because it got better mileage that anything else in my garage. Now my Diesel Ranger is used more often, but I still take it to work occasionally.
Still puts a smile on my face, and still goes like stink.
For the last 5 years, my daily driver has been my 1968 Ford XL with 108k. I drive it from the beginning of May to the end of September, then into storage it goes. For winter driving, I go with my 1983 Olds Delta 88 (odometer crapped out at 172k back in 1999!) and whatever Ford truck I happen to own at the time.
When I took my '65 F100 in for the Texas Inspection, the 20-year-old kid took one look and said " I think you better drive it and I'll just watch" LOL

It is good to here about all of this old iron running. Drove my 57 every day up to about 3 years ago. Then I bought a 77 f150 for the winters. My 57 still travels 10,000+ miles a year we mostly use it for fun and for some trips.
I am getting about 15+ mpg with the Y block
