Hesitation,engine race when turning

I've noticed it a few times-not always. On the way home,I come down a small hill to a stop sign, then turn slightly uphill to the right. When I accelerate
around the corner,seems like I'm having a hesitation.Or maybe a tranny slip.
Kinda bogs down then goes.

Any ideas?

If your truck is equipped with a limited slip differential, the clutches may be grabbing. Open the driver's door of your truck and look at the vehicle certification label. Below the barcode, look for the word "AXLE". Below the word is a two digit code. If it starts with the number "1", you have an open differential. If it starts with the letter "H", it's a limited slip differential. The other digit in the code is a code for the axle gearing ratio.

Dang, they went and changed the codes on me. Willing to bet that it's a limited slip, but you need to be more certain than that.

Is this a problem that I should be concerned about?

If my diagnosis is right, the differential clutches are grabbing. Eventually, the clutches will wear out, and the rear differential will act like an open differential. The consequence is that you won't have as much rear wheel traction in slippery conditions, as power will then be fed only to one rear wheel at a time. If it has a limited slip differential, the problem may respond to a draining of the old differential oil, adding a liquid component called a friction modifier into the differential case, then filling the differential case with the correct amount of differential oil.

Do a search on this site for "limited slip differential" or "friction modifier"

hooah, in this site under articles is a door code to tell you what the codes mean.
B6 means 3.73LS does this help. I think that is good
so does this mean it's open or closed.

3.73 is the gear ratio. LS means Limited Slip.
