2003 Explorer not blowing air

2003 Explorer not blowing air
My wife has 2003 explorer, and lately the blower is not pushing the air it was. The air is still cold but you have to set the fan at high almost to get air flow. What could this be?

Couple of things come to mind, can you hear thblower motor at all fan speed settings? I'm not sure if Ford uses relays or a blower resister to control blower motor speed. If the blower motor works in all settings then it could be an air distribution problem, does the '03 have a cabin air filter? Look in the manual and if it does remove it and check the air flow. does the air discharge from the defroster and / or floor when in AC mode? Do you have good air flow when in heat or defrost mode?

DOn pretty much covered it all. Like he sez you need to know how the blower speed is controlled. Take a look at a wiring diagram.
If it's wired the same as a 97 it has a blower resistor that controls only the lower fan speeds.
