New Intake

I just installed the Airraid System on my early '04. The first thing I have noticed, the throttle response and power have really increased. I put a Banks Cat Back System on several months ago and did not see the increases that I am now seeing. I do not live in a dusty area, so I hope the filtration holds up. I will keep you updated on fuel milage.

Your fuel mileage will definitely be better. I hope you save enough in fuel to pay for the new turbo. I had an airaid on my 04 and it's sitting in the garage in the box. Filtration just wasn't enough for ME, MYSELF, and I. I always found a tiny thin coat of dust in the intake so to ME personally it wasn't worth trashing the turbo. The only place you really make any HP gains is way way up in the RPM range--check out K&N's website for stats.

Teryyf I have the airaid aswell and I recomend you do the 'airaid mod that I and some have done. Take a sheet of plexiglass cut to fit and cover the top of the open box. Next cut the fiberglass thingy infront of the intercooler that is half blocking the airaids inlet.

This set up will block alot of the heat and engine dust from going inside the engine. There is more top end power.

Thanks for your response. I may look at the mod to the box.
