Octane Booster?
Hey i just installed a hypertech chip in my 93 351. Unfortunatly the highest premium fuel available is 91 octane, and the chip is designed for 93. Has anyone ever used octane booster? If so how did it work? I'm also wondering if i could buy 87 octane and use the booster to make it 93 ever time i fill the tank. Any thoughts?

yes fill with 87 to get the proper octane with the booster. i did this for my Jeep GCherokee with the 5.9 in it on a long trip down to san diego and back. worked out great. is your 5.8 mass air? why spend money on the hyper chip and have you really noticed any gains?
