Yes, I DO know it all. So did you - he did not.

And the point is???

Such a person probably deserves no such car.

I can predict that it will likely have fuel put in it. It will be driven, and it will suffer.

Ultimately it will have a mechanical failure that is unrecoverable and it will be sold.

Someone who deserves it will buy it and put it right again.

No problem...

I still reckon 968's were good cars. Best handling Porsche PERIOD.

This thread probably needs a'movin...

Pretty much all Porsches have had FI since the early 70's. They started with D-Tronic mechanical Bosch units (I think), and ended up going to E.F.I. in the 80's.

Dummies are dummies - let them rot in their ignorance.

When they wake up, we can help them - but not until.

You have to learn to say "I don't know..."

350? Keep in mind that this thread is about the idea and the mindset - not the car.

I wish I was YOU too...

It's a fine point among truisms:

"We realise how little we know, when we realise how much we have yet to learn"

I've met a few know it all's in my life! My philosophy is everyday is a new day to learn something new. I do love to prove to a know it all that what they know is about as usefull as ***** on a bull. You can't teach a know it all the truth,They need lifes reality to teach them the hard way. Life is funny everything comes full circle eventualy.

One of the scouts in my son's troop has a T-shirt that says: "People who think they know everything, annoy those of us who do". I laugh everytime I think of it. I share your frustration in dealing with know-it-alls.

I work with a know it all. I just laugh him off. It kills him to be proven wrong. I try to do it as often as possible.

I find "know-it-all" types to be annoying at times, but equally annoying are those who have blatant weaknesses and either write them off as unimportant (when they're obviously important) or complain how they are unhappy but don't do anything about them. For example... someone who is going to perform a "mod" on his/her vehicle and doesn't plan on compensating for the added power/strain. When you mention it, they brush it off and say, "Oh, I'm not too worried about that, it's minor anyway." That and lack of punctuation and addition of creative, slightly phonetic spellings... drives me up the wall!
