Has anyone recall seeing a book that you put truck information i.e. year engine, steering box, etc in it to construct a custom spec manual. I saw one in a magazine but I can't find it, any information would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Jaye
I have never seen a log type book that you ener info into, if that's what you mean.
The PO gave me a couple of sheets of info on the truck when I bought it (along with a box of spare parts). I have continued that idea by writing down every custom, special or stock part I have installed along with part numbers and sources. It has already come in very handy for some mods I have done. I also figure it to be invaluable to the next owner if I ever sell it.
they were offered long time ago seems like I saw it in CCT on one of the new products pages probably 10 years ago...... it was published by Mike Greene
and copyrighted in 1994

UPDATED INFO: The zip code and phone have changed.
I talked to Mike Greene today. He still publishes these Custom Manuals and has some in stock. These are high quality fill-in-the-blank style manuals to document any street rod with sections on drive line, chassis and electrical. They cost 9.95 + 2.50 s&h. Call in your order and he mails it to you with an invoice. Then you send him a check. Says he hasn't been stiffed yet. I ordered one today.
Very cool guy, deep into hot rods. Tell him you are from FTE.

No Limit currently sells a similiar book. I was at a show and Master Power Brakes was handling out Pamphlet size Hot Rod Data record pamphlet. It is about 6 pages in length. It about 3 inches in width and 11 inches long. It has room and ask for SPecific part number related to the chassis, electrical system, engine, wheel and tires, brakes, body. I have mine clamped behind my visor along with my wiring schematic.
