i have a 6 inch lift now with 35s i want to go high enough for 39.5s i see there are 2 2.5 and 3.5 inch spring hangers. i am wondering which of the last 2 are what i need i dont want to go overboard with the lift because johnny law might have something to say haha!
I just looked it up, in the State of Maryland the bottom of your front bumpber cannot be more then 28"s. In fact you are probably at about 28-29"s right now. I do not suggest you go any higher unless you want to move into DC or VA where in DC there is no height limit and in VA you can go to 31"s. Additionally, I do not recommend spring hangers on the Superduty. I would not do anything or possibly go with 37s, which I have set up with no rubbing. If you are interested I will tell you how. If you insist on going bigger swap out your springs.
I am in New Mexico moving out to DC for a job and I want to live in Maryland, but will settle with VA because I hear the police are real strict in MD. I heard on another board that the Superduty is so heavy that people had issues. I know there is a place in AZ that makes them. I believe the company is called Edge or something. I will ask my friend who is rolling on 46s and 4" hangers. He does not take his rig off road and he has not had any problems. He uses it to tow his stretched Wrangler on Rockwell axles and 42s.
well i think if you dont go around asking for trouble with the law you will be ok knock wood i havent had any problems as long as you dont break the law.
i just waant to get an idea on the hangers so i can start to work on it.
