im wanting to go to a restaurant that carries good crab cakes or crabs. something fairly cheap but also something known to baltimore. im actually staying in falls church, va so anything around the DC area is fine too. but something known to that area i'd like to eat at. let me know if you have any suggestions
From Falls Church, VA to Baltimore. . . quite a ride.
One suggestion would be to try Phillips, in SW Washington. While NOT cheap, very good food. Verrrrrrrry good.
In South Baltimore, there is a restaurant called Gunnings. Not too expensive, but really good crabcakes! They are right off of Ritchie Hwy., in Baltimore.
Lastly, ANY place at the Inner Harbor, in Baltimore, will have either decent or GREAT crabcakes. Come to think of it, Phillips is at the Inner Harbor, too.
If you want a great crabcake, try Angelina's. It's located on Harford Road, just inside the city line. They have softball-sized crabcakes that are the best I've ever had (except for my mom's). They also ship them via FedEx. It's a small restaurant whose quality hasn't suffered as they've become more popular. The phone number is 410-444-5545, and they're located at 7135 Harford Road. I think their zip is 21234. Their crab cakes are not cheap, but you definitely won't be disappointed.
just wanted to say that i went to gunnings today. VERY good crab cakes if i might say so myself. thank you for your help! my baltimore experience is pretty complete.
