Hi, the hood won't open on my 1989 bronco. The first latch opens, but the second safety latch won't let go. The lever in the grill moves a bit then stops. Its very hard to see where it latches through the inch the hood opens until it stopped by the second latch. Anyone know where I should poke to unlatch this second latch?

Push down on your hood just enough to release pressure, then engage lever all the way. Once open... spray the snot out of it with some lubricant spray.
I don't know if the 95 has the same kind of latch. But I when mine gets stuck that way, and the lever has gone to the left as far as it can go, I then pull the lever towards me. Once in a while it snags on something.
Thanks everyone, the hood is open. The lever got shoved forward (no idea how) and it ws hitting the tranny rad which just to the left of the lever. Bent the lever forward to clear the rad and it opened right up.
