Very loud squeaking whenever i turn the wheels (stopped or moving) or put force on the right side (making left turns) Any idea where i should start looking?
check for any loose bushings, or a broken sway bar link on either side. The sway bar link is a common problem on Fords. New link at checkers is about 12.00$ very easy to change.( I just changed the right side one on my 2000 F150) It sound more like a bad bushing. If you can get a helper jack up the front and have them turn the wheel back and forth while you are under there to pin point the squeek. You can also use a long rubber hose to help find the squeel by moving the hose to different areas and holding the other end to your ear.
Ok, the squeak is most definetly coming from the right side.. we were jumping up and down on the passenger side to flex the passenger side front suspension and try to locate the squeak, and i think we found that its coming from the top left bushing.. upper a arm thinger i guess. What would a broken sway bar look like?
edit- how much do bushing cost? is it a do-it-yourselfer? should i do all of them if i'm doing one of them? recomment a type? thanks again
and is this normal for a vehicle with 61,000 miles? I did bottom out and bend some stuff.. but that was on the driver's side.. and it didn't start squeaking until a couple of days after that.. i don't know.. could be related.

on the lower a arm there is a bar or link that is perpendicular straight up. hooked to a bar that goes from one side to the other side hooked up to same spot on the other side. they help when making turns so the vehicle does not dip.
I also have a 97 150 4x4. it had the same exact problem. it was so loud that it was actually pretty embarrasing. I took it to my mechanic and he just got an spray lube and sprayed pretty much every joint on the front end. it took a few days but after that it was back to norman
