mostly mud and both grunt and speed money is no problem and yes it will be mounted on the front.
If money is no problem, then your rig is probally all decked out with big tires and all, and you need something that can pull alot more than your truck weights. Look at the 15,000 lbs Warn winch around $1,000. But if I'd get a winch I'd get the Mile Marker 12,000 lbs winch for about $600. Remember winches pull the best when more cable is let out and with ****** blocks. I like mile marker's stuff, it has less moving parts to brake, which is one reason why it's cheaper.
Ok I just looked at your truck in your gallery, and it looks like you could fit some 49" Irocs in place of those 28" slicks, so lets see a new pic with the tires you have on, and for a winch, you'll prolly need a 30,000 lbs PTO winch or carry someones truck like yours or Ivan's with you to pull you out when you get stuck.
i say you have three choices (just for simplicity sake)
warn - get the electric. since you dont rockcrawl speed isn't an issue so you could get away with the 16.5ti
milemarker - get the hydro, they have 2 speeds, some have 3 or even four. you wont ever burn up the motor and they pull hard as an ox.
PTO - these are strong and relentless but beware.... unless you are real good you can't drive the truck while you winch. although 90% of the time a PTO winch will drag any light duty truck up a tree with no problem, ****** blocks wouldn't be much of an issue.
yes.... stay far FAR away from Ramsey and all the $299.99 specials they have on ebay all the time they are crap!

ok new pics are up of 44's and new wheels , let me know
Nice truck, you still have plenty of room with those tires on. If you go with a winch go as big as possible and try to use it with a ****** block to get the most pull you can, cause if you get stuck you'll need something big to pull you out. So it'd be best if you could wheel with other people that have trucks simialr to yours or one really big winch, like the warn 16.5ti, and I like the Mile Marker 12,000 lb winch, but it might not be big anough for you.
