Front Hubs
I have a question about my front hubs. I'm told that I can leave them turned to 4x4 even when my truck is in 2wd. I'm wondering if I can leave them switched on 4x4 for the winter so in case I need the 4wd I don't have to get out to switch the hubs. Will this cause damage to my truck if I leave them on 4x4? I've heard it can bring down your gas mileage as well.

Yes, You can run with your hubs engaged. And Yes it will lower your gas milage. Depending on what your doing, truck setup etc, It'll only be a few mpg if that. I lose 2 or so mpg running with the hubs engaged.
