RABS Light On
I have a '93 E-150 with a 5L V8. Occassionally, the RABS light on the dash will remain lit. I have some info that describes the system and a troubleshooting procedure. It appears to be an RABS II system. The procedure starts with making sure the brake fluid resevoir is full (which I have done). The next step is to read the code in from the RABS computer. The process describes disconnecting a test wire to the RABS computer and grounding it while turning on the key. Then the code should flash on the RABS dash light.
My problem is I cannot locate this test wire. I have found the RABS computer under the dash on the passenger side, but I do not see the test wire. The wire color is described as well, but I do not see it. Does anyone have a suggestion as to where to look. I do not see it around the RABS computer, and I don't see it under the dash on the driver side, although I could certainly be overlooking it.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
