Yeah, but we would probably have to be careful where we went even up there, cuz it is probably 100 in parts of Canada too. That or if we went too far, freeze our tails. BTW, Jeffwecker, it is good to see a new person posting.
Much the same in Memphis, the wonder of it all is that green things grow in heat like this - sometimes I could swear I'll wake up and look outside to see miles and miles of sand dunes in all directions!
Start drawing a Line at Hope BC moving East through the lower part of BC to Fort Mcleod Alberta <> slightly climbing Northeasterly to just North of Medicine Hat Alberta straightening easterly through Saskatachewan (Near Swift Current & south to where I was born) to just below Winnipeg <> across the lakes to a Wasaga Beach & Barrie Ontario then continue east to the Ottawa Valley.
From there east I don't know what happens except people there drink a lot of beer in that area all the way to the Atlantic Ocean.

In Pheonix, the heat factor is nil - there is no humidity at all.
HERE it clobbers you!
You can't seem to make up for it by drinking more water because it runs down all over you. In the desert there is an evaporation factor that seems to help.
I used to live in Hays, KS and they said the heat wasn't as bad because it was a "dry" heat. Yeah, RIGHT! It was still plenty hot!!! Of course if it is 100 and 90+ humidity, then?
There's hope yet - the heatwave seems to be taking a dip for the next few days.
Today and tomorrow in Memphis there's a chance of T-showers, so I'm keeping my swim trunks handy. I hate to think what this week has done to my electric bill, what with the A/C even at night.
Anything above 70 degrees turns me into a mobile salt water sprinkler system...
Looks like the weatherman helped us out. We had rain across the area today and temps are not supposed to be as high this weekend. Only a comfortable 90 or so. We're looking forward to a visit from you non KS/MO folks.
Feeling good here today, high of only 83 and that was at 1:13 this morning!! Kinda nice to shut the A/C off for awhile after a week of running it day and night. Might have to sell a kid to pay the light bill lol.
