I have 2.75 gears in my truck.....how difficult is it to replace the gears?....where might i find a cheap set of gears used or otherwise.
want something a bit taller.....want a bit more off the line

depends what your truck has for a rearend..... 9", then any 4x4 will have 3:50's or 4:11's that should fit, if it's a dana/spicer 44, then you can only go to 3:10's i think without changing the carrier...
could do like i did.... got a whole rearend from an 84 4x4 and put it in my truck.
