My mom graduated college with a Horticultural degree. Although, I dont know the details of jobs after that. She used to work at a bank when we first moved here, but gave that up to work at Virginia's Explore Park. Its a historical park that reinacts frontier life in the 17th-19th centuries.
Now she is the site manager of the Narional D-Day Memorial in Bedford, VA.

Mine has her own cleaning business. Shes retired (worked 30 years in a factory) and its basically just enough to keep her from getting bored, plus it gives her a little extra spending money.

My mom is a stay at home mom. Prior to that, she worked for the phone company(Mountain Bell back then), and was also a secretary at an Engineering firm.
Her typing skills came in handy back when I was in school.
Now she takes care of my 7 year old daughter while I am at work. It is so much nicer than daycare, not only because of the price(free), but also Mom helps out with the homework, etc.
My mom was a stay at home mom all my school yrs. She worked for Sears after we finished school & took care of my paralized dad for 40 yrs too. She is retired now & lives in our old house in La.
my mom is a doctor, scientist and university professor. she now works for a pharmaceuticals company. she plays the piano, sings opera and speaks five languages. she only buys Ford cars.
my dad developed software for the alberta oil and gas industry. he retired and bought a farm to raise tomato plants and grow flowers.
mine had a degree in marine bio. and worked for the musemum of natural history in new york untill she retired in 85 as a volunter . shes gone now "1999" and missed . she was known world wide for her shell collection
My mother worked the nightshift for more than 20 years as a nurse's aide at the county hospital, raised three kids, had a huge house to maintain, and helped out my dad whenever she could find the time, which was often, because she made time to do it. She retired about 5 years ago from the hospital, and now she helps take care of my grandad. She still keeps up her house, watches my neice and nephew, and raises a huge garden.
my mom drives 45 miles one way to another town to be a government agent for the farm service agency... 3 years ago she got hired as the ced which is the boss and after almost 23 years she finally because a boss and she makes alot of money and pays the bills since dad farms and is still building the operation. mom is awsome and is the only reason that we are still able to farm as it is an expensive hobby... im going to get my degree then head back and carry on the family farm! thanks mom!
My mom takes care of my dad now (disabled vet) but years ago when they first met mom worked for the FBI as a secretary. She has a personalized, signed letter from J. Edgar Hoover himself congratulating her on getting married to a "fine upstanding young american" (my dad was in the service at that time).
