Hey
I've said in my previous post I'll be getting an 89 F150, and was wondering if anyone here has a truck registered with regular passenger plates in New York. The official NYS DMV site says I will have to pay commercial taxes, but they seem rather high for a truck being registered as a passenger vehicle. So if anyone who has a truck under 5,500 lbs in New York (if you live in Westchester County, where I'll be registering the truck, that'll help more, but if not its okay too) if you can give me an estimate of costs you pay for a 2 year registration, I'll really appreciate it.
Thanks

Hi, I've got a '94 F-150 registered here in Brooklyn NY as a passenger vehicle and it costs the same as anything else. I think the higher fees only apply to commercial vehicles that are 1-ton or more. good luck
