A 10 year old rebuild omitted the spacer for the crank pulley because there was a groove on the pulley shaft where it hit the timing cover seal...I would like to re-install a spacer in order to alighn all the pulley belts properly (with power steering added), I can also add a repair sleve to the pulley shaft so there would be no oil leak proplems...
54 239 OHV ??? inside diameter is roughly 1 3\16"....
Anybody know where to find one of these spacers by itself without having to buy a whole kit
Can you use washers? McMaster-Carr has 1-3/16" to 1-1/4" ID steel washers in a bunch of different thicknesses all the way up to 0.235". Might be cheaper and easier than finding a spacer if you think it would work.
George, do you have a link for McMaster's....washers would work fine, I could adjust the OD as needed, just wanted the ID to be right so what ever I used would'nt beat up the crank surface...
Thanks if you have a link, in the mean time I'll do a search for them.
