Will it work?
I am ready to pull the trigger on a new truck. Only certain dealers have what I want. I am looking for a supercab with short box and a 5.4. I was going to go to a local dealer cuz the guy is persistant. I was going to check it out and do a test drive. HOWEVER, I just got a mailer from the last dealer we bought from (a 2004 Explorer from Sunrise in Fontana) and they sent an ad saying they will beat the Ford Family by a grand. Since Sunrise doesn't have what I want...I want to see if Pasadena will take the deal if I say I will buy right there if they match it...

I think the finance department at the dealer in Pasadena is stronger than death, that's what I think. Don't kid yourself, not only do they plan on recouping that grand, they've got to pay for the mailer too. But, if they have what you want...

Well we picked up the truck I wanted at I think a fair deal. They didn't do the 100 extra off, but they gave 8500 for the Ranger. THey only wanted to give me 8000, but I said no deal if they didn't come up.
Details are:
F150 XLT
Dark Shadow Grey

Power win./locks
Super cab - short bed.
We only financed I think arounk 15K after tax and all that.
