There's one on the side of the road with a great big "4 SALE" spray painted on the side. Not sure what year but it's at someone's house. If it's still there, I could check it out but this is in West Tx....
Thanx!

I have a spare '79 long bed, dual tank, tool box with all the Ranger Trim and no rust. Bought it last year from a guy that wanted to replace it with a flat bed. Nice ones are hard to come by and when you do find them they're usually almost as expensive as buying the whole pickup.
Hi guys, if anyone has a bed along the lines of what wrangler was describing... I need a straight, rust free dual tank bed for a '78, I don't need any of the chrome, a tailgate would be nice, and the built in toolbox would be great. I'm on Long Island, NY so let me know 'cause when I look I only ever find single tank rust buckets.

Sorry if I was unclear..... this is not an attempt to sell the extra bed that I have. I intend to use it on my '79 then convert the bed I remove into a matching trailer... Yes I've been called a "hick" by several already for having my bed trailer plans.
Here's a link to a '79 Bed for sale on ebay. Hope I'm not breaking any rules posting it here.... Dang it's expensive tough. I got mine with all the Ranger trim, Tailgate, Fuel Tanks for $700 just as a reference.
