Exclamation HELP! Pitman arm

I cannot find a new bushing that connects the pitman arm to the steering.(Track rod, or what ever it's called)
I have checked all the parts stores around St.louis, no one has a listing for the part. Where can I get this from.
Thanks for any Help.

Is it not a ball joint? Is your truck 2wd or 4wd?

The only thing that that connects to the pitman arm and the steering is a drag link.

The inner and outer tie rod are both on the drivers side and connect to the drag link.

If its not that, and your looking for a pitman shaft bushing for a bendix steering box, it will need to have the case machined for a new bushing, but the rebuild kits have a redesigned bushing that uses a smaller contact area. they work but don't look that tough.

If its the lower pitman shaft bushing/seal in a ford steering box it should be available.

The guy at the shop (state inspection time) said it was a center joint/bushing at the pit man arm. I havnt ever done much work on steering, But I just looker under the truck, and it looks like the tie rod end on the drag link is bad where it meets the pitman arm, I guess i wil replace the other tie rod ends at the same time.
Thanks for the help.

I guess ball joint may not be the correct term, but I am referring to the swively thingie, that you put grease into.
