On the driver's side of the engine there is a pipe that runs from the exhaust manifold up to the EGR valve. Off that are 2 hoses that run up to the DPFE sensor. Those are what you're looking for.
If the hoses are OK then the problem is likely a bad DPFE sensor.
If you snoop around in the forum you'll find that it's a pretty common problem.
