did ford ever...
was wondering if ford put out a 1978 f250 four door 4x4 pick up. if so how rare are they? the reason why i ask is im thinking of buying one and the guy says its factory and i dont think i ever heard of them doing that factory. ive seen some but they were custom jobs that people have done on their own. if it isnt a possibility of being factory then what else is he stretching the truth on? get my drift? any help will be appreciated and thanks in advance

Yeah they built em. I have one. Mine's a 78 CrewCab 4x4. The rear doors are slightly smaller than the fronts. Mine has a 351m, manual trans, one ton diff's and a lot of dents! I have tried to find prduction figures for this truck, but Ford didn't track each model of F series built in 1978. There aren't many on the road still in the Seattle area.
