Hot vs. Cold weather?

So which do you prefer, hot or cold weather?
I prefer it cold!
Why?
Because you can always throw on more clothes and be outside all day and be warm, but you can strip down butt naked and still be hot in the shade.
I think yesterday was hot enough to make you sweat in a swimmin pool! For those who say they like hot weather they ought to have their head examined.

Roast me baby!!!

By the way, what do you consider hot or cold?
Anything over 100 I consider hot. Anything under 60 I consider cold.

Of those 2, give me 100F anyday, I don't like humidity much though, far too clammy.

I should have clarified, if I have to go to a short sleeved shirt I think it's hot out.

I don't know why but I prefer my long sleeved flannels and sweatshirts and jeans or my insulated Carhartts.

Well, start examining my head...........we're about to set a record of 10 straight days over 110 degrees.

I LOVE it.

Love going to the lake @ 120*

Love doing yard work, going for a jog.........ANYTHING.........except sleeping in it.

Turn the A/C to 72 at night.

Very difficult for me to loosen up in weather under 70*

I (like a lot of Australians) are putting on a huge jacket below 70. T-Shirt weather (for me) doesn't start until we get close to triple figures.

I love cold because you can always throw on more clothes and always get warmer. And you can't have a heat stroke in the cold, because I don't think there is such a thing.. is there? Maybe there's a cold stroke.. but I think a cold stroke is really a person that's cold playing golf and hitting in a birdie to make par. He just kind of "strokes" it in if you know what I'm saying.

BigF350 - What's the weather like down there right now? I've always wondered if you guys have winter while we're having summer.. or is some parts of Australia having winter.. or how does that work? If you could, please elaborate as much as you can.

I like the cold.

Dam near cold year round.

If I want hot weather, I just travel 30 minutes by car either north, south or east.

Can't travel west--too wet.

I think it's the only place in the country with a small area micro-climate.

Even parts of the city vary by 10 to 20+ degrees.

Now that's a micro-climate.

You can go out to west Texas and it be like 100* outside and hardly any humidity and you barely break a sweat. It doesn't feel hot there. But I live in about Tulsa, Ok and we always have high humidity levels.. gotta love it.

Hey, marauder......what's that?

All I have is a swamper. Right now it's 90 degrees in the office. When the swamper is on, it will get down to 85. Monsoon dewpoints are up right now. Making it feel more muggy. As for daytime, it's been in the "teens" where I am.

Cool or warm? I am not bothered by either one. Right now, I wouldnt mind the days much if the nights could be abit cooler. Learned how to stay cool up at the mine where the rocks held the heat in all night. During the day in the Summer, 130 was common. Main thing is, the power bills are alot lower during the Winter.

Give me HOT. I work outside all year. I can work when it is 100 +, but when the ground freezes I am out of work. My favorite temp is about 75. I think I was supposed to be born in AZ. Anybody need a house guest?

The moist cold out here does tend to bite.

It goes right to the insides.

I've had friends from Mi. and Co. tell me that our cold weather bites right through.

They can't believe 50 degrees hurts some much.

I like it, although my joints and muscles do hurt.

Oh well.
