grumble
OK - so my 2000, b4000 4x4 is making more noise as it goes down the road.
Its a low rumbling sound, so sqeualing or all that bad, but there is definetly more noise. Seems to come from under the drivers feet towards the centre. I put the turck in N and kept rolling the sound doesnt go away, so its not likelyl to be engine noise.
Could this be related to the u-joints or driveshaft somehow? Ive gotten 100k KMs on it thus far. When does the driveline/shaft get re-lubed (aluminum).
Wheel bearings is another option I suppose but Im really hoping thats not the case $$$.
Anything I can do to figure this out would be great.
Thx all...

Does the noise keep in line with the speed of the vehicle?
I had a bearing go out (38,000 miles, wouldn't you know it), and the sound was a constant grinding type noise, or like someone put rocks in a hubcap type of noise.
If so, I'd do the check as Seņor Conquistador suggested.
Good luck to ya.
