Good deal on stainless nerf bars...
At least I thought so. I've been waiting for a year for them to make these for a '04 2 door Super Cab... BTW, NO, I'm not affiliated with these guys in any way. I just thought it was a good deal for stainless Ranger nerf bars. I know you can get stainless bars cheaper elsewhere for "more conventional" trucks like the F150 and 1500's. But for a Ranger, I've been scouring high and low for a deal, and this is the best I've found.
I don't know anything about Wildcat Flash, so I'm taking a bit of a risk buying sight unseen. They'll be here Friday and I'll let you guys know how they look. Maybe I can get a few pictures posted, if anyone's interested.
Thought I'd share with my Ranger buds...

Well... they worked out great!. My only qualm is with the rear mounting brackets. There are 2 holes to mount the sidebar to, an upper and lower. I had to use the upper hole to keep the bar level with the rockers. Unfotunately, the upper hole isn't slotted for bar adjustment, but you can adjust the front bracket to accomodate the rear. Also by using the upper hole, you are left with the extra length of bracket hanging down. I'll have to get someone to cut it off with a wheel or something. But all in all, a decent fit and finish.

You got the stainless? I've always wanted a set, and the powder coat might look good on my black ranger... my price range, too... is it functional- does it work well to use it as a step? can you post a pic or email me one? jiminls@aol.com
thanks, Jim

Thanks for the compliments. Mine didn't come with factory step bars. I went to the dealer to price out regular chrome tubes, and they wanted $382!!! Suuuuuuuuure... I'm a believer in the aftermarket when it comes to accessories, anyway.
Guessrow... yes they're quite functional as step bars... that's what they are! They have pads to step on, and they seem quite sturdy. I'm 250 lbs., and support my big ****... There's a couple of close ups in the link I gave above in post #2.
I HAD to get stainless... I'm a sucker for "chrome". I thought they would accent the chrome bumpers and grill nicely. Plus with all the salt they dump on the roads here in the winter time, I wanted them to last. They do have a "limited lifetime warranty" on them, too.
