Tire pressure
Hey, I noticed on the tires on my truck, the max rated PSI is 80 psi. I useualy run 45 psi, Are you supposed to run the max or close to it? I thnk that 75psi would help mileage wise.

You might be running a little low, but you don't need 75 or 80. That will just make for a bad ride and tire wear. With an F150, I ran 50 in my load range E tires and got good wear. As you have a 250 I would suggest a little higher, maybe 55-60.

The recommended tire pressure is in the user manual, and on a sticker on the door sill with a bunch of other info. Depending on your usage and tires, you may go higher or lower. Too high of a pressure will make the ride harsh and the tire will not wear properly. Unless you carry a very heavy load, you most likely don't need 75 psi.
