Does anyone know where I can find instructions on replacing the steering coupler on my 79 F250? I have both the Chilton's Manual and Haynes Manual, but neither explain how it comes apart.
If it's anything like the one on the early 80's F-250, you have to cut the rivets holding it together. Then drill out the holes to 3/8", use grade 8 bolts with the new flex coupling, and locktite it.
