Acting up?
Hey guys as some of you may know, I'm a bit new to the diesel game. I've had my 2000 PSD (141K) for about 4 months now, and it runs mint. However, I do have a question since I'm still an amateur. Lately, when I start the truck, I've heard a somewhat loud buzzing noise under the hood on the passenger's side. It does it while I have the AC on too. Seems to go on and off. I'm in MA, and it's been pretty hot the past few days (90ish). When whatever the part is buzzes on and off, it also makes the 'WAIT TO START' light do the same thing, go on and off. This occurs during start up. Is it normal? Is something being activated because of the heat? Somebody told me the part making the noise activates because of temperatures or something. I don't think so though. But whenever I start the truck, I hear the buzzing sound. What is it? How much to fix? Thanks for all the help in advance!!!
