Getting Ready For Emily!

Haven't had a hurricane in this area (deep south Texas) in quite a while, but there's one on the way. Hopefully it won't get too bad, looks like we will miss most of the big stuff, but will get some of the north front. I'm at work right now (a hospital), so I might have to spend the night here if it gets too bad.

im welcoming it but we need the rain, hopefully us okies will get some, good luck for you those going to be caught in the storm while its a hurricane

Wow, thanks for all the concern

It's still raining and flooding in some areas but we missed any major damage. Northern Mexico is another story, they got hit pretty hard.

We got hit with a major band around 10am, that was the worst of it. It's been raining pretty much non-stop all day, so some areas are flooding.
