New SD owner
I've been reading this forum for the last several days in preperation of buying a new truck, and have picked up some great information. Last night I bit the bullet and traded in my '01 F-150 Supercrew on an '05 F-350 CC w/ 6.0 PSD. My wife and I decided to take advantage of the great family plan pricing right now and also traded in her '04 GMC Yukon XL Denali on a new Excursion.
We've not been happy with the Denali since we bought it, and are happy to be an all Ford family once again. I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions as I get used to my new truck. This is the first diesel I've owned in a long time.

I have been a “GM guy” my whole life, and I‘ve decided that I’m done.
My 1994 Yukon has been a good steed, but, the current GM styling has me thinking that the design studio is smoking crack and sniffing glue.
When I place my order for my 06 PSD F350 Crew Cab long bed SRW in November of this year, I’ll be “biting the bullet” as you say, but I’m looking forward to it!

Congrats on the purchase. You will indeed find more than enough information on this sight. I have an F350 on order and I know that I got all the right stuff thanks to the help from this forum.
