How does a person with a g-mail account, acquire "invites" ?

 

why would you want a gmail invite? what is it?

but still why do they want invites what do invites get you?

 

The email program is by referral only, no other way. After you have been on gmail for a while, you get 50 invites to give out to friends, family, people on FTE or whatnot. I have several email accounts on there, because I use it as a drive on my computer. You can also skin gmail such as I have. Check out my post called "Skinning Google?" I placed in there a screenshot of my Gmail after it was skinned. Gmail also gives you 2GB of space for emails, and it's continually growing. When I first got it, you got 1GB, then they had their 1 year birthday so they upped everyone to 2GB.. now I think it's at 2409.982357MB and counting. Just go to gmail.com and it'll give you info.

 

RomberB2, can you store music on gmail; such as music from iTunes?

I have prezactly one account there- with the name I wanted, I might add.

Theres only so much I will store on someone elses machine(s), sometimes stuff happens...

I doubt anything WILL happen at google, but my security conscience says limit what is out of your sight and control.

 

I have one called xerosist and that's where I store music that I want to keep. Then I have one called admin87 and I put videos on there along with random documents that I have then I have the romerb2 one and that's where all my emails go.

 

And with g-mail, once you choose your user name, you can't change it; which is no biggy.
