Coolant Filter Ball Valves
I'm looking at purchasing a Coolant Filter Kit from DieselSite and noticed I have an option for "Two Inline Ball Valves". Do I need them and/or what do they do? Thanks in advance as always.

But when you remove the filter on most of the inline systems.......some of the coolant will be lost unless you can close the input and output hoses to the filter mounting. That's probably what they are for.

Check out the link in my signature to my site. I have how we installed my coolant filter that I got from dieselsite. I added on/off valve's that I got at Lowes but I would recomend getting them with the kit, they ended up being a little more pricey from lowes and would save you a trip.
