Innercooling a 94 pre powerstroke?

Has anyone added an innercooler to a pre powerstroke tubro diesel? If so how much hp/torque did you gain and did it come in a kit? Thanks Chris

ATS makes an intercooler kit. If you are running a stock set-up it will do very little good given the low boost level. If you have already done the ATS turbo outlet, dp, added gauges and turned up the boost it would have significant benifit.

consider doing some searches to get familer with these mods

btw our trucks are typically called IDI's

I know there are several guys that have taken powerstroke intercoolers and modded them to work on their trucks. If your handy I think it's cheaper than the kit

find a good exhaust shop that can mandral bend the pipe and anything can be done
