need some advice on steering components for 77 1/2 ton shortbox 4x4.
i was told the steering in this truck should be replaced w/ 78 or 79 steering from pitman arm down. is this a good idea? or is there something better? truck is in excellent shape recently rebuilt 351m w/ edelbrock intake, carb, flowmaster 40, msd ignition, etc etc.
steering is last thing that needs to be done.
Depends on if the present steering is functioning well. If it is, there is no reason to change. Use the <SEARCH> function to look for more info here. The change has been discussed many times.
Thanks for using FTE!
