I do and it makes a huge difference. You'll need the 3.5" boost tubes and the intake as well. The turbo sings, its hard to not make big boost just driving around town.
I'll agree that Banks customer service is lacking because the sales people dont know "sqwat" about there product line. However, Banks does have the ONLY complete kit avaible for the diesels that I've seen. Its always a good thing when someone engineers a complete system with a goal in mind.
Request a real Engineer to disucuss the details before buying as this was the route I took.
Good luck in your search for power.
I'm running the Big Hoss Kit from Banks. I did the install as its not hard but time consuming. I guess total time was two days just "peddling" with it.
Computer, gauges, & exhaust were easy. The intercooler was a little slow because the front upper crossmember (radiator & stuff support) had to come out to change the coolers. Again not hard just slow.
If you have normal hand tools you can do it too.
fyi- you can get better pricing from dealers than with Banks direct....I know don't ask...
Forgot the gauge reading. EGT never exceeds 1000F unless I turn up to setting 5 or 6 than it will hit 1400 if I stay in it. Banks limits EGT's to about 1400 unless you use setting 6. Then I believe if all conditions are right it'll let EGT hit 1600 or so. I may be off but tis close.
Haven't been to Ennis yet to see. Been working and traveling to much....
I know I can aggravate mustangs & cameros at stop lights.....
A rolling punch from about 35 is pretty darn hard and 85+ get there too fast. A local LEO friend wanted to see how well a big 4x4 CC can jump. He was shocked at how fast my F250 just left him sitting there....of course I would never do that on a public road without approval first.....
