Okay, I loved my 4 speed w/OD in my 1992. I want to make the swap into my current truck can i do it? They are both manual trannys
"Old" truck: 1992 F-150 with 4.9L exxtended cab short box. It has the 4 w/ OD mazda tranny.
current truck: 1986 F-150 with 4.9L standard cab full box. Transmission code from door jamb is "B." It has a 3 w/OD tranny.
I think I remember reading somewhere that the bell housings had the same patterns from the 70's untill end production making it a failrly simple swap. Any comments? Or suggestions?

Reason: Additional details
It should be bolt in if you have a juice clutch already. Bells are the same pattern. Misunderstood your first one. Wish I had a M5OD or a ZF sitting around to replace my 4 speed.
