help with trouble codes
hello all,
I am new here and from what I have seen this looks like a great place to find answers from other folks who are knowledgeable about Ford trucks.
I just retrieved the trouble codes from my 95 f150 with a 302 with auto transmission and I do not know how to correct the problems.
Please help
the codes were:
538 insufficient rpm change during koer dynamic response test
632 overdrive cancel switch no action during self engine run test
the valves ping really bad but only sometimes. sometimes when I am coming off the line it will ping and sometimes under acceleration at highway speeds and then at other times it will not ping at all. it also seems to bog down when accelerating hard from a standstill and when it shifts to 2nd gear.
Also I had dual exhaust installed and they removed the cat converter and now I get a code of 172 o2 sensor fault/lean.
any help will be welcomed.

during the test you need to toggle the overdrive switch, and press the gas pedle, if this is the only codes your getting, and there is no other problems with these areas you can over look them.
during the key on, engine running test.the light will flash halfe the number of cyinders(8 cylinder= 4 flashes). then you need actavate switches that apply to your truck,od switch,break,clutch, or power steering pressure switch. Then you will get a verry fast flash,now you need to snap the throtle(to the floor and right back up).
this should get rid of those two codes.
