Need Help Identifying a Motor
I know that it does not have the original motor in it. I need to do a bunch of work on it to make it reliable. The bubblegum and bailing wire has a lot of miles on it. What I need to know is what did the motor come from so that I get the correct parts.
Block (what I know, feel free to add or correct)
E7TE-CA (From lower side of block drivers side-Nothing near starter)
E-80's
7-7th year
T-truck (but not always)
E-engine
CA-? california?
high output, roller motor
Starter
Reman no. 3185
Ford F1 E4TF-11131-AA 85
E-80's (?)
4- 4th year (?)
T-truck (?)
F-?
11131-? model number of starter?
85- year
Spark plug
Autolite Platinum AP104 (long thread-the 87 truck one is short plug and will not screw into the block)
Bosch Super R6 188 HR9DC
It looks like the front of the fan blade just barley lines up with the back of the radiator shroud. The fan sticks out almost completley from the shroud.
These are the things that I know. Is there a way to find out what I have? It is a real pain to take the parts off and then try to run down the part that is correct and wait a week for it to come in.
Thanks!
Sauramen
The block number says it is a 302 motor. A couple of engines have that block number, so read the description and see which one is like yours.

26 for the first alphabet, then
26 for the "AA, AB, AC......" alphabet
26 more for the "BA, BB, BC alphabet
1 for the CA?
79 changes?
I'm more awake now than last night at 3. Doesn't mean I am right or anything.
