I saw a news clip here in Texas the other day and it said something about all truck stops are going to start selling Willie "bio diesel" starting this month. Has anyone else heard this or was I just hearing things.

I havn't heard anything....and I live here too. But that doesn't mean it isn't true. I've studied the Bio Fuel, and would use it if it wasn't more expensive than regular fuel. They have got to get the price down to be effective.

i don't know anything about texas... but i wish they would hurry up with the bio diesel thing up here in new england... i'm no tree hugger but i'm sick of paying these oil shieks over in the middle east all this foolish money for a barrel of oil... i would rather pay our farmers...! the sooner they can get all those big rigs running on bio the better off we are all gonna be..!

I live in NJ. There is only one place I know of that has bio in our area. The price they quoted for bulk delivery was about $3.75 a gallon, with a $1.00 tax credit. But $2.75 is still higher than diesel at the pump. I paid $2.35 the last time. Also they said I do not have to do anything to the truck to run it. I don't know if that is true or not.

Well, I'm up to $2.48.9 per gallon now.
Bio is still higher at about 70 cents more.
But MD has a rebate for buying bio, they give you 50% back, up to $1000.00!!!.

You don't have to do anything to the mule to run bio.
Here is a good site on bio and locations nationwide that sell it.
Check with your state for a rebate.
http://www.nbb.org/
There are two flavors, about 60 cents apart.

As for Willie Nelson, here's the main page:
http://www.wnbiodiesel.com/locations.html
But I think Willie's is only 20% bio.
