You look good as far as the pinion seal is concerned. Be sure you get that vent hose back where it belongs.......or your going to be changing more than the silicon seal on the cover my friend....ok?
Yeah, should I just zip tie it to the frame rail or attach it by some other means?
It looks like the steel clip is still attached. Just slip it back on along the top edge of the rail on the inside. You will probably see the scratches where it was originally.

You would have to go to their website and check......they probably have a number you could call. That is what I'd do.
from the pics of the cover it is a 10.5/10.25, if i am not mistaken all dana axles have a fill plug on the cover. everywere i see covers they say they are for the 10.5/10.25, same cover different size ring gear.
