Question engine mounts

does anyone know if the engine mounts on a 360 are in the same location on a 300 ? where the motor mounts to the frame?

I think there are 2 sets of holes for all engines available.

I'll see if I can find a pic of a frame.

Jake,
If your trying to put a 360 where a 300 was, don't change any thing. Unbolt the motor mounts from the engine perches, pull out the 6, and sit the 360 right back down.

There are several sets of mount holes, but going from an inline 6 (240 or 300) to an FE does not require anything gettting moved.
Dennis, I'm not positive...but I am pretty sure there are 3 sets of holes instead of the 2 that you mentioned.
First set of holes and stands fit 240,300,360, and 390.
Second set of holes and brackets fit 302, 351M, and 400.
Third set of holes and brackets fit 460.
These are just the factory installed motors. If you want to use something other than factory installed, here is what it takes to make it a bolt in instalation:
First set: 240, 300, 352, 360, 390, 406, 410, 427, 428
Second set: 289, 302, 351W, 351C, 351M, 400
Third set: 370, 429, 460
These stands and engine combinations will work from 1965 to 1979, and I know this from first hand experience. The first set of stands are set up to where the left stand is almost twice as tall as the right stand. The second set: the stands are almost the same height. On the third set: These are completely different than any other stand. There is no way to confuse these. They are pretty close to the sama height, but are set up more like a GM stand. On the first 2 sets, the motor mount has a stud that drops in to a hole in the top of the stand. The last set is made to where there is a hole in the top and bottom with a long bolt going all the way through and is almost like trying to put together a puzzle. Be advised these stand and engine combinations are strictly for 2 wheel drive applications. I don't have a clue as to what fits what on a 4 wheel drive.

I have a Question?. I have a 77 Ford F150 4WD with a 300, im looking to do a swap with a donor 351M, i've looked at the motor mounts on mine and another that had a V8 with the same engine. Here's my question, will the 351M fit were the 300 was?
