Does Dirty Fuel Filter = poor mileage?
Let me know how the coolant filter works out. I ordered one from Napa that has screw on filters that can add the additive alredy in it. But could not find a place to mount it under the hood.
Long story short - went back once again and it died on me. Called first thing this am. The service advisor started to get a little smart with me, got a little heated - he basically said if its not the batteries then its just a pure coeiencidence. So i sat down with the service director - of course he apologized, gave me a loaner truck. Two hours later he called back and said they got it to die engine needed to be hot. It was the cam sensor. They had already replaced it and assured me all is fixed - and they drained the oil and replaced the plug and the copper ring. Said they do not believe it was due to the battery being drained or being jumped off, but said they will cover the charges due to the issues i had this week with my service. Come by and pick it up - its ready to go.
So far so good - will see - as long as it keeps running, i wont be going back -
thanks for the input folks! - and the batteries are 3 years old -
