Axle switching...
Ok...here's the scoop.
I have a 76 F250. The body work got overwhelming and I had to put it aside. I got a 77 F150 from a friend, but it needs head work and new tire
On the F250, I got 2 BRAND NEW 35x12.5x16.5 tires with 31x10.5x16.5 tires on the front. However...the F250 has 6 lug rims.
My F150 is in need of some tires..the rims are 15's and are only 5 lug.
I really got to loving the big tires and would like to keep them..what would be the way to go on this..
a) just suck it up and buy 4 new tires...
b) look for 5 lug rims that are 16.5"
or c) switch out the back axle and the front a-arms...and all that stuff.
If I did c...how hard would it be??
