Do a search on fuel pump check valve or cross flow fuel tanks. There was a recall involving this on a lot of Ford trucks. You could probably ask at the local dealership and they'd know right away what you're talking about.
Putting in the check valve would probably stablize the pressure a little and maybe clear up some of your problems.
Saurian, ever get the filter in? Your problem sounds like a fuel delivery issue and that would be the best place to start.
I think its that check valve. If I prime it like 7-10 times, and go to start its JUST like it was normally.
Anybody have part number/internet site to buy the part, and its cost?
Also, where can I get and for how much the dual tank valve that is causing my rear tank gas to go to the front?
Where is the check valve, and the tank selector valve located respectively? Thanks guys! I'm almost positive it must be the check valve now, but we'll have to see. Napa said that couldn't find it.
The check valve is part of the fuel pump its self. You have to replace the whole unit. I just replaced the rear pump in my truck, and now the front gets filled so it is time to replace that.
